Imagine a dog owner who is very fond of his 150 pound dog. It is very loyal and intelligent. However, it can sometimes attack a stranger and harm him seriously. Suppose it kills a neighbour’s son. Who is responsible? Can AI cause similar harm? Who is responsible?   The new government in Karnataka needs to show quick progress in projects that make people's life better. Legislatures are usually more willing to cooperate early. Early actions shape the narrative. Bureaucracies respond faster before political fatigue sets in. All this has led to a tradition in countries, the 100-day plan! This informs the public of what the new government plans to do in its first 100 days. I highlight this, specifically to suggest that the DKS government in Karnataka should announce its First 100-Day Plan. Srinivasan Ramani
